The project emphasis on the transition between the inside and outside space. The living spaces stand between the courtyard and front yard, taking full advantage of the bay views and retreating at night on the serenity of the gardens.     •  The main purpose of the renovation was to establish a relationship with the surroundings that will integrate the sense of living in the tropics, taking advantage of the spaces in between the outside and inside and validating those as the desire tropical way of living The project required a addition that was overlap to the existing and extended towards the street side creating a new and more private gesture. “The house was renovated in a way that allows privacy from the street, but opens towards the park and the ocean.     •  Located on a small peninsula in East Hampton, long island, Gerard drive has become the place where some of the most prominent local people have moved to run away from the summer crows that takes over the Hampton during high season. The project was design to provide all the practical aspects of a boutique hotel suite and preserve the calm and peace of an ocean retreat. All the functions are combine under the same roof and space, the kitchen island works as a table and divides the space in two: a bedroom and a living area. The services are on the back of the cottage: dressing, shower and office.

    •  The project retains the features of the existing 1930’s architecture, while creating the perception of unusual volume and space. Working with a palette of white colors, each volume was painted and renovated to reinforce its relationship with the adjacent one. Editing the old facade and cleaning the volumes was the main purpose of the architecture review. An existing stock of 60 year old palm trees, white inflatable, small flags and a column of bamboo are featured in the landscape design.

    •  The design of the Villas was base on the idea of a generous deck protected by a series of roofs in which the living areas are display. The Villas become a vast flat expanse for sunning or entertaining. A truly indoor – outdoor structure. The rooms are spacious, simple, and airy. From almost anywhere inside or out, the ocean views are riveting. The challenge was to provide privacy while fitting the program on 3 villas in a small lot. Making use of the lot levels and the angles, we provided the necessary privacy.

    •  Design to be a free standing sculpture that will host a bar, the building suggest an airplane landing in the Regent square development. It opens it wings, increasing its high towards the main square, and reducing it towards the corner of the triangular lot shape. The interior mirrored ceiling works as a periscope that shows the experience of the interior towards the street. A optical billboard that becomes a living lantern of entertainment during the night and a reflecting street walk scene during the day.

    •  The building was design to create a gradual tension at the intersection of two main streets. The street corner as a place of encounter in the city is embrace by the sequences of volume gestures at different levels that hinges and create an expressive node. The building opens its facade as it moves away from the corner until it transition into the adjacent buildings. The used of different material by volume and plans emphasizes the facade intentions.

Sun, Water and wind are the mediums that draw sensual silhouettes in the horizon. Flavors and smells of Margaritas embrace our spirit and allow us to express ourselves, undressing as we travel the different veils’ that let our spirit free. We travel among sales chasing the sunset. We swing resting under palm trees surquing with our fingers the smooth sand. We dance, we sing.
